Job Summary
The Therapy Department at our skilled nursing facility is seeking a PTA Physical Therapist Assistant for a PRN or part-time position. You will provide exceptional, personalized care by utilizing your experience and judgment to plan and implement therapeutic interventions designed to meet patients' treatment goals. This is an 'as needed' position with potential for full-time opportunities at additional locations.
About the Role
As a Physical Therapist Assistant PTA, you will treat patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions. Your responsibilities include providing exercise instruction, demonstrating empathy, and documenting treatment outcomes to enhance patients' physical abilities and well-being. You will also communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff members.
