PRN Physical Therapist Assistant

About the role

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking qualified physical therapy assistant candidates to join our dynamic team. Working under the guidance of a physical therapist, you will assist in treating patients by following individualized plans of care, develop and implement treatment programs, support patients through all phases of therapy, communicate treatment details, document patient conditions and responses, maintain communication with therapists, directors, rehab staff, and facility personnel, and operate standard physical therapy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Physical Therapists.
• Develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director of Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
