Responsibilities
- Assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Physical Therapists.
- Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
- Develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
- Aid patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
- Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
- Communicate continuously with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
- Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of [State] or eligibility to obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
