PRN Pharmacist - Community

About the role
We seek a Per Diem Pharmacist to perform professional duties associated with prescription processing. Per Diem Pharmacists are temporary employees who work on an intermittent basis and must have availability during pharmacy hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
Responsibilities
- Distribute drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
- Provide information to customers about medications and their use
- Deliver a superior level of customer service
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
- Administer immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
- Perform any other usual and customary pharmacy duties
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
- Current pharmacist license in the state of Connecticut
- Certified immunizer or willing to become one within 3 months of hire
Pay
The hourly pay for this role ranges from $44.00 to $79.00 per hour based on full-time-equivalent rates.
