PRN Pharmacist

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications by reading medication orders and prescriptions; perform data entry of prescriptions, preparing labels; calculating quantities; counting medications and labeling prescription bottles and completing final verification of prescriptions
• Anticipate needed medications and supplies by placing and expediting orders, verifying receipts, and removing outdated drugs
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Provide counseling to patients on their prescriptions and OTC medications

Qualifications

• Active Ohio Pharmacy License
• Immunization Certification by accredited organization
• Pharm. D. or BS in pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy
• 1 to 2 years of experience
