PRN Patient Service Representative

About the role

The Patient Service Representative (PSR) at Envision Imaging is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring patients feel valued. This is a temporary (PRN) position with the option to attend a 2-week training session.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and provide friendly greetings to patients and providers.
• Check in and out scheduled patients, ensuring proper documentation.
• Collect co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles as needed.
• Resolve patient, provider, and customer complaints.
• Communicate with PSR Leads and Area Managers as necessary.
• Enter accurate data for patient registration.
• Assist with medical records as needed.
• Manage eRIS Center workflow, including scheduling, billing, and patient surveys.
• Monitor schedules and ensure all necessary data is completed before exams.
• Facilitate no-show appointments and reschedule/cancel appointments as needed.
• Monitor waiting rooms to prevent long waits and assist patients as needed.
• Request and process new/same-day orders and requests.
• Ensure patient satisfaction surveys are completed after each exam.

Requirements

• One plus year of experience providing exceptional customer service in a healthcare setting.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to solve problems effectively.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.

Pay

Position Pay Range: $17.70 - $21.30
