About the role
The CNA will help patients recover from elective surgical procedures. Under immediate supervision of Registered Nurse (RN).
Responsibilities
- Assists with providing patient care to include I&Os, position changes, vital signs, and linen changes.
- Stock recovery room carts, OR family waiting room and linen cabinet.
- Clean, make beds in ORs, and wipe down all surfaces in ORs.
Requirements
- Current CNA license in the state of North Carolina or currently enrolled, in good standing, in a nursing program leading to eligibility to be licensed as a Registered Nurse.
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
- Two years of CNA experience.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications
- A friendly and professional bedside manner.
- Understand legal implications of patient care.
