PRN OUTPATIENT THERAPIST (LICENSED)

About the role

The Outpatient Licensed Therapist is a PRN position and a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team at River Point Behavioral Health, an 80‑bed adolescent and adult Baker Act receiving facility in Jacksonville, Florida. The facility provides high‑quality, individualized mental health and addiction services in a confidential, caring environment, operating 24/7.

Responsibilities

• Obtaining assessments
• Conducting individual/group therapy on assigned cases
• Completing documentation per policy and procedure
• Case coordination
• Coordinating discharge planning
• Assisting in developing and maintaining community resource information
• Performing marketing functions as assigned
• Assisting in the maintenance of the program environment in compliance with policies of safety and security
• Ensuring good clinical judgment to ensure optimum patient care
• Participating in continuing education activities

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited university in social work, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology or related field
• Licensed as LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT
• 1‑3 years of related work experience preferred
