PRN Operating Room Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Needed in Pocatello, Idaho

About the role

Serve as first or second assist on surgical cases for variety of surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including general surgery, trauma, orthopedic, neurosurgery, bariatric and other subspecialties as needed
Perform intraoperative technical skills such as suturing, wound closure and tissue handling
Participate in surgical rounding, documenting and communicating with patient progress
Work closely with surgeons, residents, nursing staff, anesthesiologists and other team members
Support quality improvement initiatives and adherence to clinical protocols
Earn excellent support staff Epic EMR

Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ surgical experience required

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner preferred
Current license to practice in the state of Idaho
