About the role
A registered nurse to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care in a surgical center environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
- Formulate individualized care plans
- Coordinate and deliver direct patient care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team
- Evaluate patient responses and revise care plans as needed
- Document all activities accurately
- Promote safe, evidence-based practices
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Engage in professional development and mentorship activities
- Support department workflow and provide relief charge duties
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or higher in Nursing
- Valid RN licensure
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- PALS certification required for pediatric cases
- Minimum of one year of OR or procedural experience (preferred)
