PRN Occupational Therapist (OT)

About the role

Volare Health operates long-term care skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation centers across multiple states. We are seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents, develop effective treatment plans, and improve the daily lives of our residents while building genuine relationships with patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop effective occupational therapy treatment plans and goals tailored to each patient's needs.
• Obtain approval for services from the referring physician and implement treatment according to the physician's plan.
• Participate in discharge planning, record evaluations, treatments, and charges.
• Screen residents for potential benefit from OT intervention.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with other center team members to ensure optimal patient care and progress.
• Attain productivity benchmarks and complete documentation/billing accurately and timely.
• Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Occupational Therapist licensure as outlined by the state Board of Occupational Therapy in the practicing state.
