PRN Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and implement Occupational Therapy services in compliance with regulations and directives.
• Assist residents in achieving their highest physical, mental, and social well-being through individualized therapy plans.
• Participate in discharge planning, care plan development, and resident assessments (MDS).
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants as needed.
• Maintain accurate treatment records, resident files, and progress notes.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.

Requirements

• Current NY license and registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Valid malpractice insurance and good standing license.
• Dedicated to compassionate, quality care with enthusiasm and patience.
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Flexible, able to work under pressure, and adaptable to various schedules.
