PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant (Home Health)

Primary Responsibilities

• Follows all state specific laws governing the provision of occupational therapy in home care.
• Follows the treatment plan set only as defined by the supervising OT.
• Instructs and aids patients in evidence-based treatment within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant and according to the state laws governing occupational therapy assistants.
• Observes, records, and reports to the nurse supervisor and the physician the patient's response to treatment and changes to the patient's condition.
• Instructs patient, family, caregiver, and other members of the health care team in the areas of therapy within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant.

Required Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• State Specific Requirement: Must be certified and in good standing with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.

Preferred Qualification

• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.

Pay

• Annual Total Cash Target Pay: $50,852 - $76,277
• Hourly Pay Range: $24.45 - $36.67
• Per Visit Point Pay Range: $29.34 - $44.01

Schedule

• Annual total cash compensation for this role assumes full-time employment (40 weekly hours) at full productivity and generally follows the range above.
