Primary Responsibilities
- Follows all state specific laws governing the provision of occupational therapy in home care.
- Follows the treatment plan set only as defined by the supervising OT.
- Instructs and aids patients in evidence-based treatment within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant and according to the state laws governing occupational therapy assistants.
- Observes, records, and reports to the nurse supervisor and the physician the patient's response to treatment and changes to the patient's condition.
- Instructs patient, family, caregiver, and other members of the health care team in the areas of therapy within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant.
Required Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice.
- Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
- State Specific Requirement: Must be certified and in good standing with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
Preferred Qualification
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.

Pay
- Annual Total Cash Target Pay: $50,852 - $76,277
- Hourly Pay Range: $24.45 - $36.67
- Per Visit Point Pay Range: $29.34 - $44.01
Schedule
- Annual total cash compensation for this role assumes full-time employment (40 weekly hours) at full productivity and generally follows the range above.
