About the role
Providing in-home occupational therapy to help patients regain their physical abilities.
Responsibilities
- Follow state laws and the supervising OT's treatment plan.
- Instruct and assist patients with evidence-based therapy within legal scope.
- Observe, document, and report patient responses and condition changes.
- Educate patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members on therapy techniques.
- Adapt to various home environments regardless of patient demographics.
Requirements
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, or access to transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
