PRN MRI Technologist (outpatient)
Institute of Diagnostic Imaging is seeking an experienced, patient-focused MRI Technologist to join our team in an outpatient setting with a supportive environment and excellent work-life balance.
About the role
This is a PRN (as-needed) position based in Fort Walton Beach, FL. The primary shift is every other Sunday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Additional weekday and Saturday shifts are available to assist with staffing, vacation coverage, and call-outs. Our outpatient centers operate Monday–Saturday, 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM, with varying shift times.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans in an outpatient imaging center.
- Deliver exceptional patient care in a compassionate and professional manner.
Requirements
- Minimum associate's degree in Radiology or graduation from an accredited two-year radiology or MRI program.
- Current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography, or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMIT).
- MR advanced registration through ARRT or ARMIT required upon hire.
- Must meet state licensure requirements for Florida.
- Must pass an additional background screening as required by the State of Florida for clinical positions.
