Responsibilities

• Consult and coordinate with health care team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans for both mother and infant.
• Monitor the bonding between mother and infant and provide mothers with breastfeeding tips.
• Maintain a comfortable, safe, and clean environment for mother and infant.
• Assist mothers with hygienic needs, checking for any postpartum bleeding, examining the fundus, and C-section incision (if applicable).
• Perform emotional status checks on mothers, recognizing symptoms related to postpartum depression.
