PRN Medical Assistant needed for periodic weekend work!
About the role
We are seeking Medical Assistants to partner with us in providing health readiness services to military service members across the U.S. Army Reserve, Army National Guard, U.S. Navy Reserve, U.S. Marine Forces Reserve, U.S. Coast Guard Reserve, Air National Guard, and U.S. Air Force Reserve. Work is primarily on weekends with occasional weekdays in South Dakota on an as-needed basis; you choose how frequently you work our events.
Responsibilities
- Phlebotomy / blood draw
- Immunizations
- EKG
- Manual vitals and vision screening
Requirements
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant, or equivalent training from an accredited medical assisting program
- Phlebotomy certification (preferred)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum one (1) year of experience (preferred)
- Passionate, friendly, and caring individual
- Utilize universal precautions for patient care
- Experience working with military (preferred)
- Experience working with mobile medical services (preferred)
- Proficient with computer programs
- Must have weekend availability
