PRN Mammography Tech

Location: Orlando, FL, near Millenia Mall

Join a growing outpatient imaging team at Precision Imaging Centers. This role begins as a PRN position with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as the center expands. We maintain a peaceful, spa-like atmosphere and are committed to providing Exceptional Clarity and Superior Care in an accredited ACR facility.

Schedule

This position starts as PRN with flexible shifts based on coverage needs, including 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts. As patient volume grows, the role is expected to transition into a full-time position with a consistent schedule.

Responsibilities

• Accurately position patients to obtain high-quality mammography images
• Perform daily QC and QA checks on mammography equipment
• Complete patient documentation in the RIS system
• Identify and address scheduling or workflow issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked department
• Collaborate in a respectful, fast-paced team environment
• Remain compliant with ACR standards and MQSA regulations
• Uphold the Radiologic Technologist Code of Ethics
• Assist with workflow improvements and patient experience initiatives

Requirements

• ARRT certification in Mammography
• Florida State License
• MQSA compliant (Digital and 3D Mammography)
• BLS Certification
• Minimum of 2 years of mammography experience preferred
• Patient-focused, proactive, and team-oriented

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to assist patients with limited mobility
• Frequent bending and reaching for proper patient positioning

Pay

$35-40 per hour
