The organization focuses on how it treats employees, works with compliance, and transitions patients from “curing to caring.” Cherish Hospice is seeking an on‑the‑road PRN STNA Hospice Aide in the Canton area to enhance patients’ quality of life by providing personal care and related services directly to hospice patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care according to the patient’s needs.
• Carry out duties assigned to increase the patient’s level of comfort, maintain personal hygiene, and ensure a safe environment.
• Deliver care in accordance with an established plan of care and under the supervision of a RN.
• Observe the patient, report observations, and document observations and care performed.
• Document the care provided and the patient’s response to care in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Provide timely documentation of patient services based on the plan of care.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, regulatory compliance requirements, and directives.

Requirements

• Travel as necessary (up to 50% of the time) to service patients in their residence of care, including homes, assisted living facilities, long‑term care facilities, and hospitals.
• STNA license (required).
• Valid driver’s license (required).
• Hospice experience (preferred).
• Geriatrics experience (preferred).

Job type: As needed. Work location: On the road, serving patients throughout the Canton area.
