As our PRN Nurse Practitioner, you'll provide essential clinical expertise and compassionate care to hospice patients on an as-needed basis. Responsibilities

• Provide Expert Care: Conduct comprehensive assessments, manage symptoms, and prescribe medications to ensure optimal comfort and quality of life
• Be the Clinical Resource: Support our interdisciplinary team with your advanced clinical knowledge and expertise
• Create Meaningful Connections: Build trusting relationships with patients and families, providing guidance and support during vulnerable times
• Champion Comfort: Develop and adjust care plans that prioritize pain management, symptom control, and dignity
• Collaborate with Purpose: Work alongside RNs, LPNs, Social Workers, and Chaplains to deliver holistic, patient-centered care
• Make Clinical Decisions: Respond to urgent patient needs, perform visits as needed, and ensure continuity of quality care
• Document with Care: Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with hospice regulations

Work Location

As a PRN Nurse Practitioner, you'll provide care throughout the Youngstown area, bringing clinical expertise and compassionate support to patients in their homes, assisted living facilities, long-term care facilities, and hospitals – wherever they feel most comfortable.

Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner License (FNP, AGNP, or similar)
• Valid Driver's License
• Current liability insurance
• 1+ years clinical experience

Qualifications

• Hospice experience (preferred)
• ACHPN (Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse) certification (preferred)
