PRN Home Infusion / IVIg Registered Nurse
About the role
Fully remote and autonomous position providing infusions in the home setting for patients in the Atlanta, GA area. This role offers a work-life balance, allowing you to build one-on-one relationships with patients while delivering high-quality care in their homes.
As a PRN Home Infusion RN, you will visit patients in greater Atlanta and surrounding areas with occasional travel of up to 150-200 miles one way. Travel time is paid, and mileage is reimbursed.
Responsibilities
- Provide immune globulin infusion therapies in patients' homes.
- Deliver one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician's plan of treatment.
- Use clinical IV experience and a personal touch to assist patients in the comfort of their own homes.
- Interact with patients, physicians, pharmacists, and other partners using excellent written and verbal customer service skills.
- Receive continuous training on leading-edge technology and clinical requirements in specialty infusion.
- Obtain and maintain additional licensure as required for multi-state service areas.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with a current license in Georgia and the ability to be licensed in other states.
- Minimum one year of nursing experience; IV-related experience is a plus.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance with liability limits of at least $100,000/$300,000 or $300,000 CSL and no business exclusion clause.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Word to document and track patient care activity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Three years of nursing experience.
- One year of infusion experience.
- Home healthcare experience.
- Pediatric nursing experience.
- CRNI or IgCN certification (preferred but not required).
Education
RN Diploma, Associates, or B.S. degree in nursing.
