Odom Rehab, a division of Odom Health and Wellness ("OHW"), is an emerging leader in innovative senior rehabilitation, providing top quality rehab to its clients. Located within assisted living facilities, Odom Rehab offers outpatient Occupational Therapy services in compliance with state guidelines.

Essential Functions

  • Provide occupational therapy services.
  • Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with state guidelines.
  • Establish appropriate POC (Plans of Care) for the patients outlining the path to achieve the patient’s goals; reassess periodically to keep goals relevant.
  • Oversee the treatment provided by the OTA based on established POC.
  • Update POC as necessary for the patient's care.
  • Develop a discharge plan for patients once completing their occupational therapy.
  • Document patient’s treatment daily based on established and accepted practice guidelines.
  • Submit appropriate charges daily for occupational therapy services provided that date.
  • Communicate on a regular basis with the physician and medical staff regarding patients’ current status or change in status.
  • Aid in developing and updating Odom Rehab treatment protocols on an as needed basis.
  • Actively participate in Odom Rehab staff meetings.
  • Track and complete Continuing Education Credits and renewal steps necessary to keep current on Occupational Therapy licensure.
  • Maintain an active Occupational Therapy license.

Qualification Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Currrent MN State Occupational Therapy Licensure.
  • One (1) year of experience as an Occupational Therapist (preferred).
  • Recent / previous work experience in primary health care setting (preferred).

  • Computer skills required.
  • Demonstrates a high level of personal and professional accountability and responsibility.
  • Self-directed and performs duties independently.
  • Ability to problem solve and apply critical thinking skills.
  • Must have the proven ability to maintain confidentiality.

Working Environment And Physical Requirements

  • Work Rating: Medium work.
  • Lifting no more than 50 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Administrative Mandatory Driving requirement.
  • Valid Minnesota driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle required.
  • Maintain personal vehicle auto insurance coverage.
