PRN - Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - MFM

About the Role

Saint Alphonsus has a PRN (part-time) opportunity for a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. You will perform diagnostic ultrasound, physiologic, and duplex studies on patients of all ages according to approved protocols, including spectral analysis and color Doppler displays. Some travel between sites is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound studies following established exam indicators and safety protocols.
• Schedule patients and obtain medical histories.
• Evaluate the appropriateness of requested exams and assist with procedures.

Requirements

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography with OB/GYN certification.
• Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification required within one year of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from AHA, ARC, or Military Training Network.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Bachelor’s degree in science or Allied Health field.
