PRN Dentist

Provide high-quality dental care in the full scope of general dentistry, including diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care, and dental maintenance to patients. Work collaboratively with all patients and staff as an integral part of the care team, and provide dental treatment care coordination and supervision to the hygienist.

Responsibilities

• Provide integration of preventive dental services with medical and behavioral health services.
• Deliver preventive, hygiene, emergency, restorative, surgical, endodontic, and prosthetic dental services to patients.
• Provide preventative services within the school-based outreach model.
• Maintain patient records in eDW consistent with industry standards and facilitate billing.
• Complete chart notes within 7 days of service provision.
• Facilitate proper referral coordination for patients with assistance from the referral coordinator and case manager.
• Participate in quality improvement and data initiatives related to dental care.
• Achieve monthly patient and service provision benchmarks as identified in the Dental Services Plan.
• Refer patients for care as needed.
• Attend required internal meetings and/or trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from a 4-year accredited dental school program.
• Valid license to practice dentistry in the State of Colorado.
• Valid unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience.
• Proof of required vaccinations prior to starting employment (exemptions may be granted as required by law).
• Must be a Colorado resident at time of hire and throughout duration of employment.

Pay

$76.03–$84.13 per hour.
