PRN Dental Assistants needed for periodic weekend work!

Are you a passionate Dental Assistant looking to make a difference? Join our team to serve those who serve our country. This unique opportunity allows you to perform Dental Assistant duties for military service members, helping to ensure their health and readiness for deployment at any time. Our RHRP events are held primarily once/month on the weekends, but sometimes fall during the weekdays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dental care in mobile exam rooms and operatories, ensuring military members are deployment-ready.
• Capture digital X-rays (BW & PANO) and handle instrument sterilization.
• Perform chair-side assistance and basic administrative duties as needed.

Requirements

• Active Dental Assistant certification (CDA, RDA, EDDA, EFDA)
• Radiology Certification in Oklahoma
• CPR/BLS certification

Qualifications

• Eligibility for base entry (background check, criminal record check, and drug screening required)

Skills

• Skilled in 4-handed dentistry
• Proficient with digital tools
• Preference for those with prior military experience

Pay

• Hourly rate (competitive)
• Per diem for each day worked

Benefits

• Mileage reimbursement (25 miles from home address, GSA rate)
• Nourishment allowance

Schedule

• Events primarily once/month on weekends, occasional weekdays
• Flexible part‑time role; you choose how frequently you work
