PRN Critical Care Intensivist

About the role

The PRN Critical Care Intensivist will provide coverage for 4-6 shifts per month, consisting of day shifts in-house with night call from home. The position is based at Summerville Medical Center in Summerville, South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care in all critical care specialties, including but not limited to, Critical Care Nephrology, Critical Care Anesthesiology, Critical Care Internal Medicine, Critical Care Pulmonary Surgery.
• Work collaboratively with the ICU team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in the development and implementation of best practice protocols.
• Cover and cross-credential at Trident Medical Center in Charleston, SC.

Requirements

• Board certified or eligible in all critical care specialties.
• Active South Carolina Licensure or ability to obtain licensure.
• PRN availability, working 4-6 shifts per month.
• Experience in a medical ICU setting preferred.
