Hourly Pay: $23.28 per hour What does a Therapeutic Program Worker do at the Veterans Homes? A Therapeutic Program Worker (TPW) is a direct care worker that helps residents with daily living skills and assists them with needs. Support given to the individual will vary based on each person’s needs and capabilities. Assists with eating, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene, oral hygiene, dressing, grooming, communications, assist with feedingTransport and attends activities or programs with residentsComplete various daily, monthly, and other required documentationObserve & report any changes in symptoms, behaviors, accidents, incidents or injuries to charge nursePerform light housekeeping duties in the living areasApplies safety & infection control measuresAssists with redirecting unsafe actions to bring about positive outcomes Assist nursing personnel with admission, discharge & transfer of residents Helpful Tips Application Procedures To be considered for this position, you must apply on-line through this posting website.
