PRN Clinical Midwife – OB ED, Mercy Hospital St. Louis

About the role

This PRN Clinical Midwife position is based in the OB ED in St. Louis, MO. The team includes physicians, advanced practitioners, and an engaged support staff dedicated to high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Serving in the OB ED, from confirmed pregnancy up to 6 weeks post-delivery, addressing OB-related complaints
• Using the Epic EMR system
• Ensuring compliance with malpractice insurance requirements

Requirements

• OB experience required
• PRN position with flexible scheduling (9a-5p and 5p-1a)
• Holiday requirement and some weekend requirement

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Clinical Midwife in Missouri
• Current CPR certification

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency with electronic medical records
