About the role
The Occupational Therapy Assistant assists in providing skilled care under the supervision of the registered occupational therapist. Services are provided for patients in all ASC Therapies & Wellness Settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct therapy to patients outlined in the OT's plan of care
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Collaborate with members for discharge plans
- Contribute to case management
- Maintain positive level of interaction with patients and center staff
- Adhere to applicable state regulations concerning occupational therapy
Qualifications
- Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Experience working with patients in various settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
