About the role
Sunny Hill Nursing Home in Joliet, IL, invites you to join our dynamic therapy team as a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate resident needs for occupational therapy interventions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Provide therapeutic activities and exercises to improve functional skills and independence.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans.
- Document progress and communicate with residents, families, and other healthcare providers.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
- At least one year of relevant work experience in an occupational therapy setting.
- Valid Illinois driver’s license and reliable transportation.
