PRN Athletic Trainer

About the role

This position is open to anyone with one of the following credentials: Occupational Therapist, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapist, Physical Therapy Assistant or Athletic Trainer.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training services to employees to prevent and treat injuries.
• Conduct ergonomic assessments and implement interventions to reduce workplace injuries.
• Develop and implement injury prevention programs tailored to client needs.
• Collaborate with HR and management teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Assess employee health and wellness needs and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Document all assessments and treatments in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• One of the following credentials: Occupational Therapist, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapist, Physical Therapy Assistant or Athletic Trainer.
• A valid state license for the relevant credential.
• Experience in workplace safety and injury prevention.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of ergonomic principles and practices.
• Understanding of workplace safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet client needs.
