About the role

Find your calling at Mercy! Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information
• Performs duties consistent with mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards

Qualifications

• Experience: Infusion experience preferred
• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
• Licensure: Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure where nursing duties are performed; must meet all state board of nursing requirements
• Certifications: American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or completion within probationary period
