PRN Anesthesiologist

About the role

Nuvia Dental Implant Center, a growing dental implant and fixed-prosthesis center, is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join our team at our new office in Moorestown, NJ. We provide implants and full mouth restorations, changing patients' lives through life-changing dental implant treatments. Our Anesthesiologists are efficient, self-motivated, and prioritize patient safety above all else. An ideal candidate has experience with nasal intubations, though we are willing to train the right candidate. Our Anesthesiologists are respected leaders in a positive, engaging culture.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia with nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office-based setting
• Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to optimize, develop, and implement anesthesia plans
• Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia by following established protocols and guidelines
• Perform pre-operative assessments and provide patient education regarding options and potential risks
• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration, patient responses, and any adverse events
• Stay up-to-date with evidence-based research in anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment

Requirements

• Board Certified in Anesthesia
• Current state medical license
• Current ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
• Ability to obtain and maintain professional malpractice insurance
• Experience with dental anesthesia is helpful

Schedule

• PRN to cover vacation weeks
• Predictable Monday–Thursday schedule
• No nights, weekends, call, or holidays

Pay

• Independent practice, 1099 position
• 100% autonomy
• Daily guarantee (whether you work or not)
• Hourly rate: $415
