Responsibilities
- Championed by a supportive team
- Supports open nocturnist shifts at WellSpan York Hospital
- Provides flexible night coverage as needed for PTO, CME, and staffing needs
- Night shift hours: 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
- Collaborates with an experienced and collaborative hospital medicine team
- Delivers comprehensive inpatient care, including patient assessments, admissions, cross-coverage, medication management, discharge coordination, and clinical decision-making
- Participates in rapid response and code support
- Helps manage approximately 300 patients overnight in partnership with a multidisciplinary team
Requirements
- Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioners (AGACNPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) with a minimum of one (1) year of inpatient, hospital medicine, acute care, or critical care APP experience required
Qualifications
