PRN Advanced Practice Provider - Hospitalist

Responsibilities

• Championed by an experienced and collaborative hospital medicine team.
• Supporting open nocturnist shifts at WellSpan Surgery & Rehabilitation Hospital (WSRH).
• Providing flexible night coverage as needed for PTO, CME, and staffing needs.
• Working in a high-volume inpatient environment managing approximately 73 patients overnight.
• Delivering comprehensive inpatient care, including patient assessments, admissions, cross-coverage, medication management, discharge coordination, and clinical decision-making.
• Participating in rapid response and code support, collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, case management, and ancillary services throughout the hospital.

Requirements

• Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioners (AGACNPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) with a minimum of one (1) year of inpatient, hospital medicine, acute care, or critical care APP experience required.
