Your Role

As the Care Giver/Medication Technician, your role includes providing hands-on care, administering medications, and offering physical and emotional support to residents while maintaining a safe and comfortable home-like environment.

Position Details

• Status: PRN
• Schedule: PRN, including weekends
• Location: 17470 BROOKSIDE TRACE COURT TAMPA FL 33647
• Rate of Pay: $18

What You'll Do

• Provide compassionate care and supervision for assigned residents, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, eating) while promoting dignity, independence, and safety
• Administer and observe medications and treatments in accordance with the Six Rights of Medication Pass, documenting accurately and reporting concerns promptly, including refusal of medications or missed doses
• Monitor and record resident conditions, including changes in behavior, appetite, skin, and participation in activities
• Engage residents in enrichment programs and life skills activities to support overall well-being
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in resident rooms, community areas, and medication/treatment spaces
• Respond promptly to resident call bells and community security systems
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, supervisors, and healthcare staff regarding care needs and changes in condition
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards, infection control protocols, and confidentiality policies
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse's Aide certification preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and demonstrate good judgment
