About the role

Katten, a global Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a Private Wealth Counsel to join its Los Angeles-Century City office.

Responsibilities

• Advising high-net-worth individuals and family office structures
• Taking ownership of client-facing responsibilities
• Demonstrating sound judgment
• Handling probate filings
• Preparing and submitting estate and gift tax returns
• Engaging in charitable planning

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in high net-worth estate planning at a nationally or regionally recognized Trusts & Estates practice
• Admission to the California State Bar

Qualifications

• Well-rounded background in all aspects of trust and estate planning
• Experience in fast-paced environments

Skills

• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
