Private Wealth Associate - The Lerner Group
About the role
The Lerner Group is seeking a Private Wealth Associate to join their dynamic team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position offers a range of responsibilities including setting up new investment accounts, processing client requests, and communicating with advisors.
Responsibilities
- Set up new investment accounts – preparing customer welcome packets / new account documentation
- Help establish online access for statements, confirms, proxy materials and other services
- Process client requests (profile updates, wires, checks, journals, etc.)
- Communicate with advisors from other practices to discuss and process RMD's correctly and accurately
- Review previous day’s activity to ensure accuracy
- Respond to questions regarding accounts, policies, and procedures
- Prioritize and organize workflow, and prepare key documents for client meetings
- Complete necessary filing and maintain client files
- Offer administrative and office management support to the team
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
- 1 or more years of experience in a related field
- Experience with relevant technologies including Fidelity's Wealthscape platform is preferred
