About the role
Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Private Wealth Associate with four to eight years of experience. This position is available in multiple offices, with a preference for candidates in Dallas, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Nashville, or St. Louis.
Responsibilities
- Experience in sophisticated estate planning and drafting
- Trust and estate administration
- Estate and gift tax
- Charitable planning
- Work with attorneys across various offices in the Financial Services & Capital Markets strategic industry group
Requirements
- Prior law firm experience required
- Excellent academic credentials
- A commitment to the community
- Superior interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated record of working well under pressure
- Exceptional judgment
- The ability to effectively handle multiple projects
- The ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action
- An active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which they are applying or commitment to obtaining one as soon as possible
Qualifications

They should also have exceptional judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action.
Skills
Strong legal research and writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are essential.

Pay
Compensation range for this position in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington, and Washington, D.C. is $230,000 - $275,000, and in Minnesota and Vermont is $215,000 - $275,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
