Private Wealth Associate

About the role

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Private Wealth Associate with four to eight years of experience. This position is available in multiple offices, with a preference for candidates in Dallas, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Nashville, or St. Louis.

Responsibilities

• Experience in sophisticated estate planning and drafting, trust and estate administration, estate and gift tax, and charitable planning.
• Work with attorneys across various offices in the Financial Services & Capital Markets strategic industry group.
• Handle multiple projects and articulate legal strategies and courses of action.
• Demonstrate exceptional judgment and the ability to work under pressure.

Requirements

• Prior law firm experience required.
• Active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which you are applying, or commitment to obtaining one as soon as possible.

Benefits

• Competitive compensation with a range of $230,000 - $275,000 in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington, and Washington, D.C., and $215,000 - $275,000 in Minnesota and Vermont, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
• Eligibility for an Associate Performance Bonus and Client Development Bonus.

Pay

Compensation varies depending on market data and ranges from $215,000 - $275,000 in Minnesota and Vermont, and $230,000 - $275,000 in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington, and Washington, D.C., commensurate with qualifications and experience.
