Private Wealth Associate

About the role

Husch Blackwell LLP is a national law firm with multiple locations across the United States, dedicated to our clients and the industries they serve. We have an immediate opening for a Private Wealth Associate with four to eight years of experience preferred. We will consider candidates for any of our offices, including our virtual office, The Link, however, candidates in Dallas, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Nashville, or St. Louis are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with attorneys across our various offices in our Financial Services & Capital Markets strategic industry group
• Articulate legal strategies and courses of action
• Effectively handle multiple projects

Qualifications

• Four to eight years of experience preferred
• Prior law firm experience required
• Experience in sophisticated estate planning and drafting, trust and estate administration, estate and gift tax, and charitable planning
• Excellent academic credentials
• Superior interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated record of working well under pressure
• Exceptional judgment
• Active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which you are applying or commitment to obtain one as soon as possible

Pay

In California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington, and Washington, D.C.: $230,000 - $275,000. In Minnesota and Vermont: $215,000 - $275,000. Salaries in all other markets will vary depending on market data. Associates are eligible for an Associate Performance Bonus and Client Development Bonus.
