Private Tutor - Pre-K and Kindergarten

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person, one-on-one tutoring sessions with individually matched Pre-K and early elementary school-age students located in the greater Rockville, Bethesda, and Silver Spring areas.
• Develop and implement personalized activity-based learning lesson plans.
• Communicate progress and goals with parents.
• Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.

Qualifications

• Passion for teaching and engaging with younger students.
• Strong knowledge of Kindergarten and early elementary education subjects, particularly foundational ELA and numeracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience with younger students preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check.
