Private Placement Operations Analyst

About the role

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA) is searching for a Private Placement Operations Analyst for a contract assignment with a premier insurance client in Whippany, NJ. The successful candidate will join the Private Asset Operations team within MIM and play a crucial role in executing the end-to-end process of private placement and infrastructure debt transactions. The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication and organization skills, and a deep understanding of the private debt asset class.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute all aspects of private placement and infrastructure debt transactions, including documentation, due diligence, tracking, and end-to-end funding processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, clients, and issuers to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the investment lifecycle with the goal of settling the private debt transaction.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure proper documentation is in place.
• Provide oversight for cash and position reconciliations.
• Help lead projects to identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness, implementing best practices and process improvements where applicable.
