Private Music Teachers - Cranbrook Schools

The campus is located in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, about 20 miles north of downtown Detroit.

About the role

Cranbrook Schools is seeking part-time Private Music Teachers to teach lessons at various grade levels. Instructors focus on scales, arpeggios, etudes, solo, and chamber music literature. Families will contact the instructor to request lessons, sign a contract, and schedule a mutually convenient time for the student and instructor. This is not a full-time or consistent part-time position; lessons are by appointment only and instructors are paid bi-weekly for lessons taught.

Responsibilities

• Teach private music lessons to students at various grade levels
• Focus on scales, arpeggios, etudes, solo, and chamber music literature
• Coordinate lesson scheduling directly with families

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music or related field; Master’s degree preferred
• Successful experience teaching students is required
• Extensive personal accomplishments in performance are preferred
• Qualifications must be present on your resume

Pay

$35 per 30-minute lesson
