About the role
Cranbrook Schools is seeking part-time Private Music Teachers to teach lessons at various grade levels.
Responsibilities
- Focus on scales, arpeggios, etudes, solo, and chamber music literature.
- Teach lessons at various grade levels.
- Families will contact the instructor to request lessons, sign a contract, and schedule a mutually convenient time for the student and instructor.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Music or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Successful experience teaching students is required.
- Extensive personal accomplishments in performance are preferred.

- These qualifications must be present on your resume.
Skills
- Ability to teach a variety of musical styles and genres.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple schedules.
