Private Music Lessons - Violin

About the role

Regents School of Austin is seeking experienced teachers for private violin instruction. Lessons are weekly, 30 minutes each, and take place after school starting at 3:15 PM. Teachers have flexibility to choose which days to offer lessons (Monday through Thursday). Regents handles scheduling and billing.

• $54.40/hour

Required Experience

• Experience teaching private violin instruction

Responsibilities

• Managing a healthy student environment toward the fulfillment of the school's mission
• Inspiring the culture with energy in relation to student life and morale
• Understanding the role "education" can fulfill as God's tool to awaken hearts and minds to His attributes and character
• Fostering healthy communication and partnership between parents and the school regarding the preparation of their child for post-secondary school life
• Providing responsive fellowship for families with students facing situational or extraordinary challenges

Qualifications

• Must believe and abide by the Purpose, Mission, Philosophy, Objectives and Doctrinal Statement of Regents School, evidenced by signing a statement of agreement with Article II annually
• Must affirm the Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy (adopted 2017)
• Must affirm the Nashville Statement: A Coalition for Biblical Sexuality (adopted 2019)
