Private Markets Strategist
About the role
This is an independent contractor role. Private Markets Strategists operate through a verification and approval process rather than traditional employment. Once approved, Private Markets Strategists:
- Advise on fund formation, capital raising, deal structuring, and operational strategy
- Mentor analysts and deal scouts, building internal capacity and credibility
- Access curated deal flow, earning opportunities, and platform-driven exposure
- Build a verified Advisor Track Record within the ecosystem
Responsibilities
Approved Private Markets Strategists may advise fund managers on capital strategy, LP engagement, and fundraising positioning, support deal sponsors with structuring, diligence oversight, and negotiation strategy, mentor analysts and deal scouts on modeling, diligence, and transaction execution, provide portfolio advisory services, operational insights, and value creation guidance, and participate in curated introductions with institutional investors or co-investors.
- Fund formation, capital raising, and LP communications
- Deal structuring, investment committee support, and transaction strategy
- Operational or portfolio company advisory
- Mentorship and technical training for analysts and scouts
- Investor relations and network strategy
Requirements
To be eligible, candidates must have:
- Experience as an operator, ex-investment banker, fund manager, or senior consultant
- A proven record of closing capital transactions or leading investment initiatives
Qualifications
Private Markets Strategists must:
- Have a verified Advisor Track Record within the ecosystem
- Be able to provide high-level strategic guidance and relationship-driven deal activation
- Focus on strategic guidance, mentoring, and deal support
Skills

Pay
Hourly rates: $200–$500, based on experience, track record, and engagement scope
Transaction-based incentives may be earned for advisory on closed deals
Payments issued after successful completion of advisory milestones or deal closure
No cap on earning potential for consistently high-value contributions
