Private Investigator Trainee - Prior Military

About the role

Responsible for conducting preliminary investigations, gathering evidence, and supporting ongoing cases under the guidance of experienced investigators.

Responsibilities

• Conduct background checks and gather relevant information
• Interview witnesses and suspects to obtain information
• Document findings and prepare reports
• Support case preparation and presentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, law enforcement, or related field
• Experience in military intelligence or law enforcement preferred
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Passing score on a background check

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of legal procedures and court systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
