Most PE internships are mostly spreadsheets. This one is mostly judgment: reading people, reading deals and learning fast. What You Will LearnThe Caprae Buyside Internship is a high-intensity training ground for future dealmakers. You will not be buried in passive research or slow-paced financial modeling. You learn M&A the way practitioners do, through live conversations, real negotiation psychology and rapid exposure to deal structuring.The foundation is communication: learning to engage founders, read their motivation, overcome objections and extract deal-relevant information. As early as four weeks in, you can move into supporting real deals, where you start to understand valuation logic, structure mechanics and the sequence of an ETA transaction. It is the only internship where the human side of M&A comes first, because that is where deals are won.
