Private Equity - Business Development Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Private Equity - Business Development Manager to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will focus on building and managing strategic relationships with private equity firms to expand partner engagement and source new opportunities. You will work closely with internal sales and account teams to strengthen pipeline development, support portfolio mapping, and improve reporting across partner-driven activity. The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of relationship management, commercial acumen, and structured execution in a fast-moving SaaS environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually Responsibilities Manage monthly and quarterly calls with private equity firms to grow and source opportunities Represent the company at industry events and support account mapping Build QBR decks and partner reporting packets Maintain reporting on partner-influenced and sourced pipeline Systematize engagements across investment firms and their portfolios Research new private equity firms and identify whitespace in existing portfolios Support outreach to onboard new investment firm partners Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in partnerships or business development roles Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, and GCP Understanding of the private equity ecosystem Highly organized and data-driven Strong communication and negotiation skills Experience in SaaS or cloud-native companies is a plus Benefits Mentorship and development opportunities in private equity Exposure to top PE and VC partners Direct impact on pipeline growth and partner success Ownership of relationship management and reporting Clear growth trajectory within the team Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
